Default cluch point

I used to have a SiR and the cluch plate was very low to the ground and was able to switch gears very fast. However now that i have a Integra RS the cluch goes out really high and it takes me longer to switch gear than it used to be.
If i switch the cluch to TypeR cluch will this resolve the problem?
Thanks

No it will not. Your SIR clutch was almost dead. New/mint clutch will engage higher off the ground. You can adjust the pedal though. Look it up on the helms manual, there should be a way to bring up/down the whole pedal.
