I would. Their Sonata is pretty nice. You could do that car up so nice. Some low offset wheels, drop and the Sonata is ballin'. The name Hyundai isn't that impressive to some people. Now obviously their accent isn't impressive. I hate that car with passion.
Edit: After all Hyundai is JDM

thats one reason i will never own a Hyundai.
Some manufacturers might have a little similarites here and there. But Hyundai seems to make it their goal to see what others do right and steal it (but half-*** the fit and finish) and then advertise that theirs is exactly like the other more expensive cars but 1/8 the price. its the freggin mini-me of the car industry!

That's the Hyundai Genesis.
I wouldn't buy it but it's for those who want a cheaper alternative to the 5-series.
Yes it's RWD.
Has two motor configurations:
4.6L DOHC V8, 375HP, 368ft-lb
3.8L DOHC V6, 290HP, 264ft-lb

what car company doesn't use other companies good formulas? i honestly don't see anything wrong with owning a hyundai or anyone who decides to purchase one. i personally wouldn't as they don't have any vehicles that appeal to me but over the past 10 years the quality of their cars has really improved.
when i was in vegas i had a kia optima as a rental for a few days and i will admit that i was impressed by the overall fit and finish of the car. v6 motor was smooth .. no power down low when i needed it but it was a pretty decent car with all of the creature comforts that a typical accord or camry would have.
in all honesty, i see more broken hondas on the side of the road than i do hyundai's.. lol

Honda and Toyota established a reputation for wuality and reliability with there older civics, corolla, etc. Everyone know they run for ages and resale is still fairly good. I think they banked on it too much and the level of quality is not the same with the newer cars.
Hyundai is trying to build a rep like toyota and Honda had in the previous years so they are paying attention to details now. The new hyundai's are very nice to drive and pretty reliable (so far) but it will take time to get rid of the stigma attached to the name.

if you hadn't notice hyundai has had the most influencial styling of all auto companies for the past 5 years.
sure they sucked in the begining I remember those Pony's back in the day and swear these car were crap.
but they have greatly improved. of course there's cost cutting on the cheaper cars like the accent, transmission so ridiculously slow. but the fit and finish is better than a domestic equivalent in my opinion.
they have gained my respect enough for me to purchase a car of theirs, well until they make some innovations in engine technology not yet. but their fit and finish and styling is very good.

Hyundai uses old styling cues from popular more estabilshed brands. Now Im not saying its a bad thing but I am saying they are no way original with their styling.
